We're looking for highly motivated postdoctoral candidates with:

​

• a recently awarded PhD in Microbiology or someone very close to completion of doctoral training

• background in bacterial genetics, molecular biology and/or biochemistry

• interest in mechanistic research aimed at understanding complex processes in bacterial cells

• strong experimental skills, with evidence of productivity, such as first-author publications or high-quality 

   pre-prints

• ability to work independently, to develop hypotheses and to take the lead in driving projects forward

• excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
